Strictly speaking, castAR is an innovative augmented reality and virtual reality system designed to offer you an easy way to interact with virtual objects. castAR system consists of three main parts including AR glasses with two high resolution micro projectors and a tracking camera, a Magic Wand, and a surface. Using the two micro projectors the augmented reality glasses show you a fully synthesized environment, while using the tracking camera the AR glasses adjust the graphic info in real time based on your viewing angle. Moreover, the Magic Wand lets you interact with those virtual environments. Apart from that, its bases allow you to add your existed miniatures into an amazing virtual world.
