Lomography has released Konstruktor, the world’s first 3mm do-it-yourself SLR camera. If you want to detailedly learn the internals of a camera or build a camera by yourself, the DIY 35mm SLR camera should be able to catch your eyes.
This is an innovative and unique SLR camera that measures 121 x 33 x 65mm. Of course, as we can see from the images, before building up the camera you just get a creative toolbox full of various parts for a fully working 35mm SLR camera, and it can usually be completed in 1-2 hours, in this process you will begin to understand the intricate mechanics behind the amazing photos you shoot. Moreover, the finished 35mm camera features 0.5m – infinity focus distance, 1/80s shutter speed with multiple exposure and a detached 50mm f/10 lens.
