Sony Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z Ultra already got the sweet taste of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, and it seems Sony is keeping up their promise about the Android 4.3 rollout for various devices. If you don’t remember, Sony released a list of several of its devices which will get the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, and it has finally arrived. Sony is rolling out the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for several devices, including Sony Xperia Z, ZL, ZR and Tablet Z. The latest update comes with a variety of features for the above-mentioned devices and bumps the build version to 10.4.B.0.569
Apart from all the features and goodies from Android 4.3, the update brings Sony’s Smart Social Camera that was introduced with the Sony Xperia Z1, and also made an appearance recently on the oversized Xperia Z Ultra. Additionally, the update also brings Sony Themes, giving users the ability to download UI packs from Sony Select.
The update also includes new version Stamina Mode, which is an updated version of Sony’s power management application and brings a new user interface as well. The complete list of features introduced can be checked at Sony’s blog.
Also note that the availability time varies with region and carriers. The update is usually rolled out in phases and can take a few weeks before its available across the globe. Additionally, carrier-locked devices may take a little longer as the update is approved and rolled out by the carrier itself.
