Pictastic for Windows Phone Receives an Update, Brings Instagram Direct

There’s no shortage of third-party Instagram applications in the Windows Phone Store. If you don’t know, the Facebook-owned company released the official Instagram application for Windows Phone — albeit a beta version. There’s no denying some of them offers more features. One of them is Pictastic, which claims to be the “most complete Instagram experience on Windows Phone.” Well, that’s a bold statement, but the application recently received an update and brings support for Instagram Direct.

Instagram is a very popular photo and video sharing social network with over 150 million active users. Recently, the company released a new service known as Instagram Direct, a direct messaging service that gives users the ability to share photos and videos with specific friends. Pictastic is another third-party application similar to 6tag and allows users to make the most of Instagram by capturing photos, adding filters to them and share on Instagram.

Head over to the  Windows Phone Store and download Pictastic for your device to enjoy Instagram Direct on your smartphone.
