This is highly-detailed, life-size Portal turret replica made by mydian_nightshade, a product designer living in Arlington. The Portal Turret replica took the talented maker a good 200 hours in his spare time over the course of several months and several hundred dollars for the materials. The life-size Portal Turret replica is about 48″ tall at the top of the egg, and has another 10″ of antenna above that.

As we can see from the images, the replica features subtle details and perfect color scheme from the original turret in Portal and Portal 2 video games.
