Not too long ago, Apple started selling the new iPad Mini with Retina display at its online store and the major US carriers. Starting today, customers interested in the iPad Mini with Retina display can head over to US Cellular and get the tablet from the carrier. The tablet is available in all storage configurations and color options — both Space Gray and Silver.
The folks at US Cellular are selling the cellular version of the iPad Mini with Retina for $529, $629 , $729 and $829 for the 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB, respectively with a two-year agreement. The new iPad Mini with Retina comes with a 7.9-inch display sporting a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, 1GB of RAM, 64-bit processor and M7 motion coprocessor, 5MP iSight camera with 1080p video recording capabilities and runs iOS 7 out of the box.
There’s a lot of speculation going around about the limited supple of the iPad Mini due to the shortage of the retina display panels. Many rumors suggest that Apple has limited supply of the miniature tablet, and it can even be seen from the online Apple stores where the shipments dates are pushed back to five to ten days for all configurations — both WiFi and Cellular models.
Let’s just hope Apple has enough inventory for the holiday season.
